In a FREE SOCIETY, there can be no "Equality", because everyone is different. Some people are luckier than others. Some people are more attractive than others. Some people work harder than others. Some people are way smarter than others. So it's unrealistic, in a free capitalist society, to expect "equality", whether it's wages, or living conditions, or anything else. HOWEVER, for those of you who seek "Equality", there is another choice: You can go live in a Communist or Socialist-controlled nation. In those countries, the citizens are much more "equal". As in 'equally poor' and 'equally abused by the government'. In America, there can never be "equality', unless we all have an equal amount of work, equal intelligence and equal responsibilities.
