Part Time Nanny for Musical Family in Sherman Oaks! Location: Sherman Oaks Schedule: 25 hrs/week, M-F, 10am – 3pm Compensation: $28/hour cash A kind family in Sherman Oaks is in need of a warm and friendly part time nanny to help care for their sweet 19 month old son. Both parents work from home and are in the music industry. We would love to find someone who knows how to balance the dynamic of having mom and dad at home — being able to entertain and fully engage with the little one so that he is not missing his parents. Ideally you love to get on the floor to play, engage, and implement learning games/activities with a toddler. He loves his routine and goes down for a nap promptly at 2pm. The last hour of your shift can be spent helping out wherever needed. Including tidying up his play area/bedroom, doing his laundry, some dishes, or any other miscellaneous tasks that the family may need. The parents would love for you to drive their son to the playground, so MUST have a very reliable vehicle with a great driving record. There is a puppy in the home, so please be comfortable around dogs/no allergies. There will be some very light meal prep involved – bonus points if you can make the perfect scrambled egg and have mastered the PB&J! General Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): General child care duties Playing and engaging Coming up with activities, implementing learning on a daily basis Preparing breakfast, snacks, lunch Diapering/potty training Trips to the park Huge plus if you are bilingual – English/Spanish!
