Recent events have brought to light the need for culturally sensitive psychology measures. Psychological research has found that the experience of racism is related to depression, anxiety, and other negative physical and mental health outcomes. African American clients may be incorrectly diagnosed with mental health problems if therapists are not aware of how racism may be impacting their daily life. My research group is seeking to verify a survey measuring levels of racism and we need your help! We are recruiting Black/African American adults between the ages of 18-65 to assist black research in verifying this measure.
