I have a Chinese algae eater that is perfectly healthy. I took him out of the big cage because I learned that he eats shrimp and I like my shrimp. to successfully raise him he will need a large place to hide and occasional insects or blood worms. he is very hardy. I once took out my small castle and took it to the bathroom to clean.
