guitar and vocalist seeking drummer

Description
we wanna get somewhere. maybe you do, too. but we all can't get somewhere if any given drummer gets a panic attack and disappears forever into thin air. it's happening a lot these days. over and over again and again. i've never seen anything like it on this level. i guess the boogeyman is alive and well out there, chasing, harassing and injecting stark raving terror into the minds of the last two or three or five drummers i've encountered. if you are not afflicted by boogeyman harassment, real, imagined or conceptualized in phobic ideation, continual or episodic, please reply. if you are not intimidated by the boogeyman and are primed to fight every perceived boogeyman please realize that we are not boogeymen. there is no reason join in this band startup and then begin picking fights because your boogeyman detection neurons activated your hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis and it is stuck in the 'on' position, ready to go toe to toe with all the omnipresent boogeymen who cross your path. everyone else--keep running from the invisible boogeyman that your parents or older relatives told you about. boogeyman fight or flight syndrome is the next big pandemic and it is spreading rapidly. don't expect a vaccine anytime soon. regarding music rather than boogeyman issues--if you're not into rock, bluesy rock, rock n roll rock, groovy rock, other rock or really good inventive rock it's not gonna work out. having an ear for good punk, new wave, folk rock and other contemporary flavors is desirable as well. having an appreciation for old flavors is good too. we would like someone who doesn't coast through the songs making them all sound more or less the same, so, autopilot timekeeper stuff is not what we're looking for. we need a bass player too. just the other day, when i bent down to zip open my guitar case, our bass player screamed, and indicated he thought the boogeyman was hiding inside it and ran for the hills. so, bonus points for drummers who are tight with a bass player and can bring him or her in as well.
