My family purchased a beagle puppy from an individual "rehoming" puppies in Vanceboro. We named her Lilly, and within days of joining our family she was at the pet hospital with health problems. She couldn't eat at first, then she couldn't drink, and finally she couldn't move her rear legs. We took her to the pet hospital seven times in the almost three weeks we had her and paid a lot of money. But in the end they had to euthanize our Lilly, which broke our hearts. Please learn from my experience. Check the person you're getting your pet from and if you suspect it's a puppy mill and not a legitimate breeder WALK AWAY AND REPORT IT TO YOUR COUNTY'S ANIMAL CONTROL!!!! Our animals deserve better than this.
