We are hiring and have immediate openings at our Portland Factory for entry level Assemblers. We are currently hiring for both day and swing shift. Monday - Friday; regular working hours for 1st shift is 6:00 am - 2:30 pm; 2nd Shift is 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Occasionally, we also work overtime, which could be daily or on Saturdays. Starting and ending times may vary due to overtime needs. Danner is a long-term company with internal growth opportunities for our employees! May use hand and power tools, small to large machinery, mechanical fixtures, and test equipment. • Rotate between operations with work area as well as between departments. • Adheres to company two-pass quality system which requires to inspect incoming work prior to performing work on it and inspect completed work prior to passing on to the next operation. • Responsible for basic set-ups, adjusts and monitors equipment. • Assist in training co-worker as required. • Comply with safety, quality, and production standards requirement. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Pass a background and drug screen. • 1-2 years production experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment utilizing industrial machinery. • Must be able to handle work that is repetitious. • Must be able to work overtime as required. • Within a diverse work environment, must respect individual difference and utilize the diverse thinking and contribution of all team members. • Dependable with a good record of attendance.
