Job Description Immediate opening for an Electrician who can manage projects on a day-to-day basis. This is a great opportunity to work with for a well-established and experienced Construction company. Candidate MUST have Commercial and Residential experience and at least 5 yrs. experience. Responsibilities: Ensure that all corporate safety procedures for personnel and equipment in department are followed. Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs Install, maintain and repair electrical and electrical parts of machinery and equipment Assembling, evaluating, testing and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment and apparatus. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions May be required to perform various manual task in other departments as warranted by workload in that department Must work/communicate closely with management and other departments to resolve problems and to coordinate activities Qualifications: The Applicant should have a High School Diploma or GED MUST have a Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial and Residential projects – Solar Experience is a PLUS Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Must be able to lift at least 50lbs Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and schematics Must be self-directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision Computer skills (word, excel, outlook etc.) Must pass a national background check and have a clean current Florida driver’s license with minimal or no points, no exceptions.
