We are currently seeking Machine Operators to join the team at R & R Corrugated Packaging Group. We work in a team-based environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn all manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. * A lot of Overtime Available * Job Responsibilities: - Set up & Operate box making machinery in our facility in accordance to established procedures - Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines - Monitor Box Quality* Inspect boxes for quality to ensure customer satisfaction* - Train & assist feeder and stacker with their job duties once fully trained - Work with crew at machine to ensure productivity & efficiency - Adhere to all company policies & procedures (including safety and housekeeping) - Ability to work overtime *Basic Mathematical Skills Required* - Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy/ ability to apply concepts of high school math Job Requirements: - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment - Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day & lift/move 55 pounds - Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus - Ability to arrive on time each day for your shift - Must be able to be on his/her feet for most of shift/ lift, push or pull on a routine basis - Experience in a box making facility is a plus -Ability to work well with others in a team based setting - Ability to read a tape measure/ have basic math skills - Ability to read gauges and computer monitors on machine
