Leading Service Provider is seeking candidates for its Janitorial Services Operation for our Multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have had 2 or more years of Cleaning experience. The Field Supervisor assists the Managers in the completion of their managerial duties. This Non-exempt position is the first line supervisor with a single cost center. This position acts as the multiple-site supervisor for Janitorial functions provided by MDBS. Under the supervision of the Field Supervisor, employees may be assigned a normal task under the ‘Janitor/Cleaner’ function. The Field Supervisor may also be needed to perform Janitorial tasks in addition to the employees they may supervise. PRINCIPLE DUTIES · Training of new employees and directing special cleaning projects · Communicating with tenant/customers in a professional manner, continuous inspections of quality levels · Maintain clean organized stock room/ office space, provide remedial (refresher) training to employees as needed, inventory supplies/materials on hand as directed by your manager · Perform your assigned janitorial tasks or fill in for absent employees, review and ensuring accurate time keeping records of all employees, directing all general cleaning to insure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning procedures · Perform other duties that may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS · 2 years Janitorial experience, HS or GED completion preferred · Able to read, write, and understand directions and complete assigned tasks · Familiar with methods used in cleaning of buildings, tools, and equipment · Ability to execute work schedules making the most efficient use of personnel · Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced, high volume environment. · Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment. · Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. · The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
