We're looking forward with great excitement and anticipation to seeing our sisters again Christian Women In Action Ministries, Inc. (CWA) was born of the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as a non-traditional ministry where women can experience spiritual growth; celebrate differences, and use unique gifts and abilities for the glory of God and the uplifting of His kingdom. Organized in Berea in 1992 and incorporated in the State of Ohio.  We are designated by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non profit organization CWA is a non-traditional, inter-denominational ministry dedicated to supporting, encouraging, meeting and serving the needs of womenand their families. We seek to encourage fellowship and harmony while providing support centered on trust, caring and compassion. We strive to provide an environment here acceptance does not have to be achieved, but is automatically granted; where we can experience spiritual and emotional growth; celebrate our differences, and use our unique gifts and abilities for the glory of God. Our vision, mission, purpose and goals are rooted in establishing relationships that make a difference and have impact wherever we go.  We find our directive in the Scriptures, which instructs women to minister to each other.  Titus 2:4-5 tells us "...teach the young women to be sober to love their husband,; to love their children, to be discreet; chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."     In CWA we seek to encourage fellowship and harmony while providing support centered on trust, caring and compassion.  Through Christian Women in Action, we strive to make a difference in our lives and the lives of all we meet.  Ministry, defined, "is the act of expressing God’s love in meeting needs of people who know Him or could be reached for Him." That’s what we’re all about...inner spiritual growth and love that will radiate out to strengthen our homes, our churches and our communities. Our Mission..is to inspire women towards spiritual maturing by providing opportunities for growth in faith and equipping them to impact others for the Kingdom of God. Our mandate is to equip, encourage, support, teach and minister first to the unique needs of women (Tit. 2:3-5), while inspiring women to spiritual maturity so that they can “make a difference” in the lives of all they meet CWA provides resources to women and their families, to meet the challenges of daily life through our multi-ministry structure. The structure includes seven areas of ministry, service and programming.  Each area is specifically designed to meat the needs of women and their families.  Meeting monthly, we are a relationship-based ministry committed to assisting and meeting the needs of women and their families . As we are an equipping ministry and have discovered that through our fellowship with each other & the Word, we can experience healing, deliverance, edification and spiritual release as we strive to advance the Kingdom of God, making a difference.
