As part of this year's conference activities, we are pleased to welcome actor, comedian, television / radio personality Michael Colyar!The theme of this year’s conference is Umoja: To strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation and race, our families, our neighborhoods, and our communities. UMADAOP agencies have been changing lives and making a difference in our communities for 30 years.  Hosted by Lima UMADAOP,  the theme of this year's conference is Nia, Vision and Purpose: Building Leadership Through the Next Decade.  The principle of Nia means to commit ourselves restoring our families, our neighborhoods, and our communities.   ​Evidence-based prevention services that are culturally competent, client-centered, and strength-based is at the heart of the UMADAOP mission and work. The people served are racially and ethnically diverse; services are typically grouped according to age, gender appropriateness, and prevention areas.
