VOLUNTEERS ARE JUST ORDINARY PEOPLE WITH EXTRAORDINARY HEARTS. THEY PLANT TINY SEEDS OF LOVE IN COUNTLESS LIVES. VOLUNTEERS ARE JUST ORDINARY PEOPLE WITH EXTRAORDINARY HEARTS.  THEY PLANT TINY SEEDS OF LOVE IN COUNTLESS LIVES.  EACH GIVING A HAND, TOGETHER THEY MAKE A DIFFERENCE THAT LASTS A LIFETIME. Boston GreenFest is the region’s largest multicultural environmental music festival. It draws crowds of thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. This year’s theme is #EnvironmentEqualityNOW. The Boston GreenFest 2021 will take place on the Rose Kennedy Greenway near the Rings Fountain, Friday-Sunday, August 20-22, 2021.  To register,  please click on REGISTER on the upper right corner of this screen.  You may select as many days as you wish. Volunteers will be needed in many capacities:  site hands, stage hands, and on hand! See the many wonderful ways you can help us out with this "all-hands-on-deck" event: Movers and Shakers to set up and break down the site each day.   Site Assistance to assist with problem-solving and on demand site needs throughout the weekend.  Help in each area of the festival, particularly with the exhibitors and vendors, troubleshoot, relay messages and provide assistance to those who need it. Welcome Desk Assistance to provide info about the event to attendees and keep exhibitors, sponsors, performers, and other guests on track.  Great for those involved in or interested in the hospitality industry. Fitness, Games and Activities Assistance to help with these fun programs on the lawn. Stage Assistance to help with the needs of our performance area. EcoFashion Assistance to help with the EcoFashion Show. ZeroWaste Assistance to thank people for recycling (and composting) and be sure that trash is not mixed with recycling. Festival hours are as follows: Friday, August 20, 2021:  8 am:  Get tents organized with tables and chairs, label for exhibitors. 8:30-11:30 am:  Move-in for exhibitors/vendors, food vendors. Festival hours:  12-6 pm. 6:00 pm - End of day. Exhibitors close up. Saturday, August 21, 2021:  8 am:  Label tents for exhibitors.   8:30-11:30 am:  Move-in for exhibitors/vendors, food vendors. Festival hours:  12-6 pm. 6:00 pm - End of day. Exhibitors close up. Sunday, August 22, 2021:  8:30 am:  Label tents for exhibitors.   9:00-11:30 am:  Move-in for exhibitors/vendors, food vendors. Festival hours:  12-6 pm. 6:00 pm - Help exhibitors/vendors head out.  Store tables and chairs.  Clean up. We recommend that you arrive at our event by public transit or bike.  If you need to drive to our event, we will provide instructions to reasonable-rate nearby garages.   Volunteers must sign up to do at least two shifts and will receive a festival T-shirt! Foundation for a Green Future, Inc. is a local nonprofit dedicated to greening our urban spaces and our lives.  It is the organizer of Boston GreenFest, the largest multicultural environmental festival in the region run annually in August on Boston City Hall Plaza.
