Open House for Educators: 3D Printers, 3D Scanning, Networking and Remote 3D Printing. Hello Technology and Engineering Educators!You are cordially invited to the 3D Herndon Open House and Workshop for Educators being held Thursday August 5th and Tuesday August 10th. Throughout each day our specialists will be demonstrating the use of 3D printers, 3D scanners, design software and 3D printer networking solutions for the classroom. For those who recently purchased a 3D printer we will help you learn how to get off to a quick start, and if you’re already an advanced user we’ll be here to answer any questions you may have. You can drop in any time to see and learn about 3D printing technologies including FDM, SLA, SLS and DLP printers. We’ll also be demonstrating how 3D scanning is being used for archeological preservation, reverse engineering, and creative art. This will be a hands-on experience, so come ready to play with our toys and have fun learning!
