There's a national shortage of personal care workers at the moment. This position can pay through medicaid at $15 to $16 per hour if applicant is willing to get a caregiver ID through DHS (requires a free online class, 2 other online classes paid after hire)
Food Shopping For Homebound 30-something
About person needing care: On disability with chronic fatigue and limited mobility.
The request: grocery shopping each week then delivering to apartment
Hours: person seeking support is currently qualified for up to 5 hours per week of personal care through medicaid
Special request: looking for someone willing communicate primarily through email and willing to build trust over time
Services needed include: errands / shopping
Optional future needs: transportation to medical appointments, light cleaning or meal prep. Most important part is getting food. The rest is negotiable over time.
