About the Job Our team is growing, and Marcon Metalfab is currently looking for a shop helper to join our team at our new location in Ferndale. For over 30 years, Marcon Metalfab has supplied custom fabricated steel and rubber products required for infrastructure, and other projects in the transportation, building construction, utilities, mining, marine, oil, and gas sectors. Equipped with leading manufacturing technologies that allow for efficient handling and processing of materials, Marcon’s 22,000 square foot facility can support even the largest fabrication projects. Shifts Available: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday (10 Hour Shifts) - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Responsibilities: Cleaning the shop/yard. Cleaning steel with a grinder. Packing up jobs for shipping. Requirements: Experience working with power/air tools. Understanding of basic English (written + spoken). Forklift experience is an asset. What We Offer: Excellent health and dental benefits.
