Description

Start your day off right with some time on your stand-up paddleboard and likeminded “Outsiders.” Enjoy the calm waters of the Royal River and the benefits of some exercise outside with fellow paddleboarders! Our group will paddle a route upriver of the East Elm Street dam, making for easy conditions. The pace and distance of the paddle will be easy, with adjustments based on the collective group’s ability. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Easy. WHERE TO MEET: Meet us in Royal River parking lot located on East Elm Street. WHAT TO BRING: Stand up paddleboard, board leash, personal flotation device (PFD), whistle, paddle, appropriate clothing (layers; no cotton), closed-toed shoes, snacks, water, personal medications. OPTIONAL RECOMMENDED ITEMS: Drybag with an extra warm layer, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. A signed participation agreement is required prior to beginning the walk .
