For many of us, owning a home is still an essential part of the American dream. It provides us with a sense of belonging and pride. About this event Our 3-part, interactive series will introduce you to experts with a passion to help people move from renting to owning. We will debunk longstanding myths about owning a home, the homebuying process and provide you with tips and resources to get you started. Whether you’re looking to buy in 2021 or in 2025, this series has something for you. Doors open and 9:30 a.m. Presentation will run 10:00-11:00 AM. Refreshments will be provided. Session 1: June 19, 2021 Financial Literacy -identify our relationship with money: how to budget, save and spend to make homeownership possible. Session 2: July 17, 2021 Funding the Dream- understand loan products, mortgage payments and interest rates. Session 3: August 14, 2021Homebuying Process- outline each step in the homebuying process from start to close. A former Girl Scout leader and seasoned HR Professional, Michele worked in corporate America for 20 years before starting her real estate career.  As a Keller Williams agent she’s works with families to help them buy, sell or invest in real estate throughout the western suburbs.     Michele is a dedicated professional who loves to learn.  Her favorite motto is: Don’t quit, suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion! She will apply that same work ethic, passion and commitment when assisting families and investors find the perfect real estate solution.
