"The Truth Tribe Collective" creates beneficial sound frequencies, generating a positive atmosphere for growth, inspiration, and healing. Saturday, August 28th Opening up to the flow 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm "The Truth Tribe Collective" presents an ensemble of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Native American Flute, drum, guitar and chimes played by a group of three sound practitioners / musicians who focus on generating a positive atmosphere for growth, inspiration, and healing. "The Truth Tribe Collective" works to shift your brainwaves through beneficial sound frequencies. This realignment creates a new flow allowing you to be present in each moment with refreshing ease. The intention of this event is to open up a space for deep meditation and to free your spirit and mind. Participants are encouraged to get comfortable and bring a yoga mat, pillow & blanket. Masks are required. Thank you in advance. Sound and Flow: First - we will be forming a circle together where we may learn a little bit about each other and do a few breathing exercises. A group connection exercise with drums and rattles will bring us into harmony with one another and shortly after we will begin a guided meditation. Second - meditation will be under way and a Sound Bath will commence. After the sound bath a circle will be formed once more where experiences can be heard and shared. Lastly will we play a few original songs that we feel bring a sense of love and deeper connection. This program is limited to 20 spots. Tickets are $30 for participants. We look forward to seeing you at the Fuller Dome on Saturday 8/28/21 for this special program. The Fuller Dome is located on the SIUE campus just off of Circle Drive, next to Visitor Parking Lot B. The Center for Spirituality and Sustainability is a nonprofit multifaith home for spirituality and sustainability efforts housed in the Buckminster Fuller designed, miniature earth, dome on the SIUE campus. The Center’s mission is to “promote humanity’s sacred connection to the Earth and each other.”
