Local competitors of all ages gathering for the ultimate showdown & a day full of Cornhole, Food, Beer, Music, Prizes, Vendors & MORE! Presented By: New England Sports Hub When: Saturday, September 11th, 2021 from 11am-6pm Where: Hilltop Fun Center: Somersworth, NH Guaranteed Payout: $3,500 in guaranteed tournament prize money, with a top prize of $2,000. What: The New England Sports Hub and the Hilltop Fun Center are hosting the tournament, which will give up to 400 local players of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to take part in one of the nation’s fastest growing past times. There will be food, beer, music, 50/50 raffle, and vendor stations. Proceeds: All tournament proceeds will be donated to benefit first responders and our local sports clubs. Join us in honoring those who serve our country and giving back to our local sports organizations. Registration: Register NOW on Eventbrite - Pre-registration fees are just $50 per team, or $60 the day of. Refund Policy: Already registered but can't make it? No worries, give us 48 hours' notice and we'll roll your registration fee into our next cornhole tournament. Or you can donate your entry to a local team of first responders. The Tournament Parking lot opens at 11am. First bags flying at NOON. The throwdown begins with pool play guaranteeing four games for each team. At the end of pool play, teams will be split into two tiers based on their overall win/loss record. Any ties will be settled by points margin, head-to-head, and strength of schedule. The competitive tournament, featuring a grand prize of $2,000, will pit the top teams from each pool in a field of 64 single elimination bracket. Teams that don’t advance to the Competitive Bracket will be invited to rebuy ($20 per team) and compete in the Tailgating Bracket for a chance to win prizes and an automatic bid to Sports Hub’s next cornhole tournament. Prior to the start of tournament bracket play, a special “Money Bag Toss-off” will be featured at Center Court, where the top 16 players on the leaderboard from the “Money Bag Challenge” fundraiser will toss 4 bags each in a knockout-style mini game until a winner is crowned.
