Located in the Grand Ballroom, all attending will be captivated by the elegance and charm upon arrival. The Magical Tea Party will begin with photo opportunities offering a glimpse into the Good Witch’s home followed by Tea Party coloring and crafts. The Tea Party will officially begin with a magical message inviting guests to choose from an assortment of tea sandwiches, fresh fruits, muffins, pastries and more! You’ll also discover sweet surprise treats all will be sure to enjoy. And of course, the Good Witch of Salem will bring her favorite pink tea recipe! A Tea Party would not be complete without a fun game of BINGO! Once prizes and games have come to a happy end, The Good Witch of Salem will lead the children in an interactive story time featuring her newly released title, “ The Good Witch of Salem,” written by the Good Witch of Salem, Ashley Tina and illustrated by Zuzana Svobodova. All are welcome to have their book signed at the Magical Tea Time event! The Tea Party will end with some dancing and a parade around the Salem Common, crowd permitting. To date, over 1 million guests have stayed at the hotel and many generations held their weddings, anniversaries or prom parties in the Grand Ballroom.”- Hawthorne Hotel Parking Parking at the Hawthorne Hotel is available based on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking is limited in downtown Salem during the month of October. It is best to arrive prior to 9:30 AM to ensure a parking space. Parking is free around the perimeter of the Salem Common located adjacent to the event venue. There are metered parking spots available around the hotel. The Museum Place parking garage is located at 1 Church Street, about a 2-5 minute walk to the event venue. Located at 1 New Liberty Street is the Bridge Street Lot, also a 2-5 minute walk to the event venue. In addition to parking, there is the MBTA Commuter Rail Station located at 252 Bridge Street and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the event venue. Parking in Salem Ticketing Information: Each attendee will require a ticket. An adult MUST accompany their child by purchasing an additional ticket as this is not a drop off event.
