Day in the Life of a First Responder Obstacle Course Relay Race All proceeds donated to a local First Responder in need The community will be partnering with the Rapid City Fire Department Professional Firefighters Union in an event for the first responders of the Black Hills. The vision of this event is to celebrate and support the first responders in the community. The event will be a relay obstacle course through Old Storybook Island. The community will have an opportunity to run the course next to a first responder. The first responders of the Black Hills community include: fire, police, dispatch, life flight, search and rescue, sheriffs, highway patrol, and volunteer departments. This year we are raising money with the help of the Rapid City Fire Department for a local First Responder in need. Morgan Helton is a Rapid City Fire Firefighter battling a rare blood disorder.
