Resolute Charlotte Inc. and Hope 4 Humanity partner to bring available community resources together to remove barriers to upward mobility. Resolute Charlotte Inc. and Hope 4 Humanity Inc. along with partner organization present: The “Life Empowerment Conference” which is designed to inspire, uplift, and encourage individuals in our community that are oftentimes overlooked and underserved. We want to provide the tools to remove barriers that hinder upward mobility by connecting them with access to available community partners and resources. This event will feature a job fair, motivational speakers, workshops, and a expungement information, which is a key hindrance for many individuals in the community. Workshops will be geared towards Health, Finances, Small Business, Housing and Homeownership, and Law/ Criminal Justice & Community Relation. Expungements, pardons, GED prep, job search and employment barriers-resume writing and interviewing, higher education, credit improvement, health screening, support for fathers, financial education, community relations, voters’ rights, entrepreneurship, and homeownership. The conference will include prize giveaways, and lunch for attendees. Expungement Workshop Hosted by: Mecklenburg Council of Elders Registration and admission are free, but everyone must RSVP.
