Explore our home planet–sun, wind, weather and water–with cool hands-on activities for the whole family!
Join science facilitators from the Nevada Space Center for an adventurous exploration of Planet Earth—become “econauts” exploring our home planet! We’ll combine hands-on activities to learn about the sun, water and weather, including a look at the Truckee River, a close neighbor to the National Automobile Museum. We’ll also collect and record data that can be used for important Citizen Science projects. Tickets are required for all participants, students and guardians, and participants under 13 must be accompanied by at least one guardian per six students. Activities are targeted for 3rd through 6th grade students but fun for the whole family!
Program activities start at 9:30 a.m. and do not repeat. After activities, visit the rest of the museum at your own pace!
Experience the past, present and future of Space Exploration! Our goal is to engage, educate and employ individuals in aerospace adventures and Nevada's new innovation economy. Join us at our developing facility within the beautiful National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada. And reach for the stars!
