Description

FREE Community Acupuncture Events for Members; Discounts for the Public Come attend our Community Acupuncture Event at the Holistic Wellness Center of the Carolinas. Holistic Wellness Center Members and Existing Clients of Fountain of Youth Acupuncture will receive a FREE Acupuncture Treatment. Open to the public for $40 a session. Payment for non-members will be collected at the event. What is Community Acupuncture? Community acupuncture is the practice of treating patients together in a large room. This differs from traditional acupuncture where treatment is administered in a private room setting. This group session will be held in the clinic's classroom, servicing approximately 8 people at a time. How does it work? After signing up, we will send you patient paperwork. When you arrive at the clinic on August 10, the acupuncturist will do a quick but efficient intake meeting. Then, you will lay down on a comfy yoga mat in the clinic's classroom and receive your treatment, which typically lasts 20 - 40 minutes. What can acupuncture help with? Acupuncture can help with pain, headaches, digestive, anxiety, fertility, and much more. It's a wonderful compliment to any healthy lifestyle. Acupuncture can even be used cosmetically to improve the appearance of wrinkles! Who is giving the acupuncture? Michelina Kraus (from Fountain of Youth Acupuncture) is a graduate of the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Bloomfield, NJ and holds a Masters in Acupuncture. During her clinical training she was gifted to study under Jeremy Steiner, an Electro-Acupuncture pioneer and expert. She is also a Certified Microneedling and Cosmetic Acupuncturist utilizing the practices of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture to enhance her treatments. She is licensed to perform (APIT) Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy, which includes vitamin injections and homeopathic cosmetic facial injections. Michelina is married to her husband Jason and proud to be a forever rescue dog mama. In her spare time she looks forward to volunteering at the York County Animal Shelter and learning new and innovative ways to heal her community. The Holistic Wellness Center of the Carolinas is the area's leader in functional medicine, a research-based approach to natural healthcare.
