Get a great introduction to jewelry making learning to make a Spinner ring. Welcome to The Bench's Spinner Ring mini-workshop! In this course each student will have the opportunity to experience a taste of jewelry making by creating and designing either a set of stacking rings or a spinner ring. This course is a great introduction if you are newer to soldering, texturing, and forming. Ideally you’ll be reasonably confident already with the jewelers saw before taking this course but is not a requirement. We will be using multiple metals and techniques to build confidence in your making and you’ll leave with a beautiful new hand made ring! Materials included - Silver, Copper and Brass sheet and wire *LIMITED SEATING - Only 5 spots open for fall session Instructor - Taylor Heide Date - Saturday September 18, 10am - 4:30pm (6 hours with 30 min Lunch break) *September 25th - Make up day if class is cancelled Pricing - $200 (Early Bird Ticket) available until Sept 1 $250 (General Ticket) available until Sept 17 To help promote a safer environment for our students and instructors, we have had made some adjustments to how our workshops and studio will be operating this coming season. All in-person workshops will have a maximum of 5 students plus the instructor to help us maintain a safe social distance while working on projects.  During workshops, all students and instructors are required to wear a mask during class. (nitrile gloves will be available if needed) When arriving at The Bench, students and instructors will wash hands or used hand sanitizer when they arrive for class and before handling any tools and materials.  At the end of each class, commonly touched surfaces are clean and all tools used during workshops are wiped down before being put away. For additional information on studio access or private lessons: Email [email protected] or call 401-484-8161 The Bench is a jewelry studio providing access to tools and facilities for experienced and aspiring jewelers and metalsmiths in the Rhode Island area.
