Live original new music about the rivers of the Suwannee Basin A full evening festival of music for the whole family, the Fourth Annual Suwannee Riverkeeper Songwriting Contest. Tickets are on sale now, $10 in advance; at the door they will be $12. Plus $150 per VIP table right in front of the stage: inquire via email to song at suwanneeriverkeeper.org. Tables will be spaced at least six feet apart. Please wear a mask when not with your party. "For people who do not want to go to in-person events, we also will be livestreaming by facebook and zoom for pre-sale ticket holders,” said Songwriting Contest Committee Chair Tom H. Johnson, Jr. At the Contest, two headliners will play: Last year's winner Scott Perkins and his band, Little Perks in Paradise, from Atlanta and Dirty Bird and the Flu, from Valdosta. Food truck Hibachi Hwy will have its regular menu for purchase, and The Pour House will provide a cash bar. Skoll Axe will have their mobile facility in the parking lot for people to try their aim at axe-throwing. WWALS Watershed Coalition advocates for conservation and stewardship of the Withlacoochee, Willacoochee, Alapaha, Little, Santa Fe, and Suwannee River watersheds in south Georgia and north Florida through education, awareness, environmental monitoring, and citizen activities.
