MEDFORD, MA — Deputy Fire Chief Francis Fusco retired this week after 34 years with the Medford Fire Department. Fusco marked his last day Thursday. The firefighters' union thanked him for his "dedicated service to the community and our department." "We wish Franny a long, happy, and healthy retirement," the union wrote on Facebook. The announcement drew nearly 200 well-wishes from residents and other fire departments.
