Join a zoo guide as they feed browse (plants) to hoofed animals including big moose. Go behind-the-scenes and take plenty of photos!
Let an experienced guide lead you on a walk through the zoo with a cart full of browse, plants harvested to feed to the zoo's hoofed animals from moose to deer to muskox and more! Participants will go behind-the-scenes to observe the feedings up close, making for some great photo opportunities. The tour will include stories from a long-time zoo guide and chats with zookeepers. And don't worry, we won't forget about the carnivores and omnivores of the zoo! You will see them and hear their stories too as you walk the trails. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekly. Reserve by purchasing a ticket a minimum of 72 hours in advance here. 1pm to 3pm (2 hour tour) Non-Member: $75/person ages 3 and over (includes zoo entry)Member Fee: $50/person ages 3 and overA small service fee will be added to the ticket prices above.Maximum of 20 peopleWe will accept date transfer requests but no refunds will be given for ticket purchases.
