Job Description Construction Superintendent needed for busy, growing construction company. This role partners with the Project Manager prior to construction regarding job site logistics, organization, labor requirements, subcontractors, equipment, and overall planning. The Superintendent is responsible to create / update project schedules on a daily basis. This role is 100% responsible for making sure the site has all labor, material, subcontractors, and equipment when needed. The Superintendent is the primary site contact between the architects and owner’s representative, and the driving force for successfully completing projects on time and within budget. Job Responsibilities • The Superintendent position must fulfill all sub tier requirements and responsibilities. • Be a positive mentor for sub tier construction roles. • Proactively promote “solutions based” problem solving. • Control 100% of the jobsite on a daily basis. • Make sure everyone involved in the project is using the most current set of plans / construction documents. • Maintain; keep clean and organized copies of all permit plans and documents. • Keep accurate record (as-built) drawings. • Schedule and attend all required regulatory inspections. • Assist in performing sub tier employee reviews. • Keep the Project Engineer up to date with any construction changes. • Identify and manage the RFI process. • Responsible for project quality and finish. • Competent in using office equipment and computer. • Competent with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Outlook. Safety Requirements • Complete OSHA 30 Safety course.
