MCLEAN, VA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in McLean and across Fairfax County, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day for Fairfax County Public Schools. The first day of school for most students in McLean is Monday, Aug. 23.New guidance released by the CDC has recommended all students in K-12 settings wear a mask. Some school districts in northern Virginia, including Fairfax County Public Schools, have already updated their mask guidelines for the upcoming school year in accordance with CDC recommendations.
