2 Work Vans Stolen From Naugatuck Business, Cops Say

NAUGATUCK, CT — A pair of Ford Econoline work vans were reported stolen this week from Meyers Supply on Sheridan Drive, according to Naugatuck police. The theft was reported at about 11 a.m. on Wednesday, and in addition to the vans, an undisclosed amount of merchandise also was stolen, police said. "Detectives responded to the scene and were able to collect some evidence while processing the scene," Naugatuck police said. "The building was last known to be secured on July 26th by employees." The case remains under investigation.
