BEL AIR, MD — For the second time, a Bel Air woman has won $100,000 playing the Maryland Lottery. The 69-year-old, who goes by the name "Lady Luck," purchased both tickets at the Macphail Exxon, according to lottery officials. As she scratched the numbers off her $10 ticket, she said: "I couldn't believe it." The win left her "happy and in shock," she told lottery officials. She and her husband of 45 years plan to visit the Eastern Shore to see their son. They are not going to travel farther than that, she told authorities, because of the coronavirus pandemic. "I'm going to have a good time," she said. For selling the winning 50X the Cash scratch-off ticket, the Macphail Exxon will get a $1,000 bonus, since it was a top-prize winning scratch-off of at least $100,000.
