Description
TEMECULA, CA — A brush fire charred three acres Friday near Temecula before firefighters got the upper hand.
The non-injury blaze was reported about 1 p.m. in the area of De Portla and Newby roads, near Diamond Valley Lake, and extinguished about 30 minutes later, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Five engines responded and encountered flames burning in quick-burning vegetation.
No structures were damaged and no evacuations were ordered.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
