Press release from Rosemont Community Association : Frank Teran July 29, 2021 Rosemont Community Association (RCA) recognizes that the rising cost of youth sports leagues, classes and other organized recreational activities has left some families behind. Through funding from the Rosemont Community Foundation (RCF), RCA provides grants to families who lack the resources to pay for these activities. Grants are available to qualifying families with children in grades K-12 on a need and first-come, first served basis as funds are available. Individual grants can be used for uniforms, equipment, and registration fees for sports classes, recreational leagues, and other organized activities. Grant restrictions specify that only families who reside within the boundaries of Rosemont are eligible to apply. The boundaries are: South of Folsom Blvd., North of Jackson Rd., East of S. Watt Ave., and West of Bradshaw Rd.  However, the activities may take place outside of the Rosemont neighborhood. Grants are disbursed as a reimbursement. In other words, applicants must submit receipts along with their application. Determination of the grant amount may be up to 75% of the total amount of the receipts.
