Firefighters Tackle Vegetation Blaze Near Vasco Road

LIVERMORE, CA — A 5-acre fire burned early Friday morning near Vasco Road and the Alameda-Contra Costa county line, according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District. ECCFPD crews responded at 5:36 a.m. to the vegetation fire reported just north of the county line and were assisted by Alameda County firefighters.
