Press release from the Elmhurst Park District: July 29, 2021 In accordance with updated CDC guidelines, it is recommended that all participants wear a mask in Park District facilities effective July 30, 2021. Masks are still required for unvaccinated individuals. The new guidance recommends masks in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission, and currently DuPage County is listed as "Substantial". All Park District staff will be required to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status. We continue to monitor the guidelines associated with COVID 19 on the federal, state and county level, as they relate to our programs and facilities. Please note that decisions regarding masking for fall programs will be made based on the current state of the COVID Pandemic in our area, at the time these programs begin in mid- August. We will continue to communicate with the community via our website, Facebook, and with participants directly through our registration software, via Rec Connect.
