Suspect Could Be Tied To Armed Robberies At CVS, Chevron

FOX HILLS, CA — Culver City police are seeking a suspect who could be tied to two separate armed robberies in the Fox Hills area. An armed robbery was reported July 13 about 10:50 p.m. at CVS, 6299 Bristol Parkway, police said. The suspect entered the CVS just before closing and waited for the last customer to leave the store, police said. The suspect then approached the cashier, pulled a gun from his sweatshirt pocket and demanded the money from the cash register. The cashier opened the register and gave the suspect the money. The suspect ran out of the store. Another armed robbery was reported July 14 about 1:47 a.m. at Chevron, 5975 Green Valley Circle. In surveillance video captured at the Chevron, the suspect pulls a gun at the worker behind the cash register. The worker opened the register and gave the suspect money. The suspect ran away. At least $450 was stolen from CVS, police said. It's unknown how much was stolen from Chevron. The suspect was described by police as a 20-year-old Black man wearing all black clothing and a face mask. No further suspect description was provided.
