MOORESVILLE, NC — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Iredell County, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Mooresville Graded School District and Iredell-Statesville Schools. The first day of school for public school students in the Town of Mooresville is Monday, Aug. 2. The first day for Iredell-Statesville Schools is Monday, Aug. 23. Both MGSD and ISS have announced optional masking for students and staff while indoors for the 2021-2022 school year.
