Sadly, I recently lost my wonderful Brittany Spaniel. (She was a good, good girl.) I'm looking for a spayed/neutered dog of similar size or slightly smaller. I'm experienced with pets with special needs, so that isn't a problem. I live in an apartment, so no barkers or dogs that don't play well with others. I have a cat that likes dogs - will sleep right on them! I need a dog that will return the affection. I generally am not interested in pitties, but will consider a mix. I am home most of the time, but because I live in an apartment, separation anxiety would be a problem. I can give your dog a lot of love, security, yearly vet visits and a comfortable home. I am serious about finding the dog that I am the right fit for and is the right fit for me so that we will be assured a very happily ever after. I can't afford a large rehoming fee, but understand that you might want one. We can discuss it. Male or female is not a concern. I just need an affectionate best friend. I am willing to drive up to 5 hours to find my friend, so most places in New York, Northeastern Ohio and Northern Pennsylvania are fine. I don't have an up-to-date passport, so Canada might be a problem unless we could meet in Niagara Falls. (As you can see, I'm serious about rehoming the right dog.)
