Seeking a take charge self-starter to help in all operational aspects of a local tile distribution company. We are the branch office of Fitzgerald Tile in Portland, ME and look forward to finding the right person to welcome to our team! Job duties include: - Pulling material and building pallets - Receiving trucks and putting away material - Operating a sit down and a stand up fork lift - Loading customer vehicles - Maintaining a clean and organized environment - Learn basic software for the companies ordering and inventory system - Answering phones, entering customer orders - Helping walk in customers This is a dual position of warehouse work and customer service. The right candidate must be able to lift 50-80 lbs repeatedly. High School diploma or GED required. Previous fork lift and warehouse experience a plus. A positive attitude and customer service skills a must. We will train you! Pay is $17-19 per hour based on experience, with a raise opportunity based on performance after 60 days. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm – This schedule includes 2.5 hours of overtime paid at time and a half.
