Animal Care Trainee Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Pay: $18.00 per hour **$1,000 Sign on bonus plus an additional $2,000 after 12 months of service** Regularly scheduled pay increases with ability to increase pay 25% in 2 years! Responsibilities: Successful team members will undergo a 12-week paid training program, which includes classroom and on-the-job training to learn all aspects of animal husbandry and includes laboratory animal science and genetics. Employees will learn to maintain animals to monitor animal health and welfare, maintain a sanitary environment and prepare animals for shipping. Animal Care is part of the production team and work requires attention to detail, working in a highly controlled clean room environment, fast paced that provides continuous physical movement. Successful candidates will clear a pre-employment physical and background check. Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED equivalency as well as prior successful work experience is required for all candidates • Lifting 25lbs on a regular basis • Walking up a ladder • Work well in a fast paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
