Drouin Spring Equine Center (DSEC) is looking for an enthusiastic, self-directed and willing to learn, on-site barn manager. DSEC is a busy equine training facility that specializes in dressage and basic riding skills. Riding lessons are taught daily, with nearly all horses/ponies at the facility participating in the lesson program. DSEC operates year round with a heated indoor arena. Position requirements include: -Ability to clean stalls -Management of barn staff -Daily feeding and watering of horses -Prior horse handling experience -Maintenance of arenas, barn interior, and facility grounds -Ability to lift 50lbs minimum -Ability to communicate in a timely manner with the proprietor Position benefits: -On site housing (dry cabin) -Salary includes cost of housing -Opportunity for riding lessons
