ABOUT THE JOB The Entry Level Warehouse Associate – Stocking and Driving is a part of our Bindery Department, and will report to the Bindery Supervisor and Manager. This is an entry level role, and no previous stocking experience is required - we'll train! You are required to have a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record. WHAT YOU'LL DO Day to day you will be responsible for all inventory stocking and driving duties. Inventory stocking includes paper, toner, and other production supplies. This will be consistent, repetitive lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. When needed, you will also be responsible for all driving duties. Driving includes pickups (such as materials or prints) and deliveries (including customer products and vendor materials). You must be comfortable driving the Company van. When there are no stocking or driving duties, you will assist the Bindery Operators with handling (organizing, sorting, stapling) and binding/assembling printed material such as books, posters, magazines, and other creative materials. Bindery Operators setup, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery in order to convert printed sheets into finished products. In addition to equipment operation, Bindery Operators conduct quality control, troubleshoot issues, prepare orders for customer pickups, prepare orders for deliveries, and ship packages. Timeliness, organization, and efficiency is essential to this role to ensure our production materials are ready and available to the departments or customers when needed. This is a fast-paced, heavy print production setting and you need to have attention to detail, work well with others, and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. Job Features & Requirements --Entry Pay Rate Range: $14.00-$14.50/hr, depending on experience. --Full-Time --Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM --This is a permanent, full-time position. --This is an onsite position only. Remote work is unavailable. --High School diploma or equivalent. --Valid California’s driver’s license and clean driving record. Driving record will be checked at time of offer. --Must be insurable under the Company auto insurance. --Must be able to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds. --This is a physically demanding position, requiring associates to move constantly around the warehouse floor, stand for long periods of time, and lift, pick up, and move 50+ pounds repeatedly.
