A local General Contractor is looking to hire a dependable & capable individual to join our team for the Long-Term. We are a small construction company that’s growing and we need to fill this position to fuel our growth!!! SKILLS & KNOW-HOW Framing - Small Niches, Pony Walls, Fir outs, Backing for Barn Door Tracks, etc. Minor Plumbing Repair - Remove & Replace Toilets, Angle Stops, Supply Lines, Drains, etc. Plumbing Fixture Installation – Kitchen & Sink Faucets, Shower Heads, Bathtubs, etc. Minor Electrical Repair - Remove & Replace Outlets, Switches, J-Boxes, etc. Electrical Fixture Installation - Ceiling Fans, Vanity Lights, Pendant Lights, LED Strips, Rope Lighting, etc. Drywall - Hang, Tape, Mud, Prime & Texture; Patching & Repairs Carpentry - Jambs & Casings, Baseboards, Interior & Exterior Doors, Cabinets, etc. Hardware - Knobs, Handles, Levers, Hinges, etc. Painting – Interior & Exterior, Touch-Ups Tile Setting - Shower Walls, Shower Floors, Cuts, Grouting, etc. ABILITY & MIND-SET Fantastic Work Ethic - Passionate about Your Work & Perform at the Best of Your Ability everyday Consistency - On Time, Every Time Ability to Lift 50 lbs Great Personality - Occasional interaction with Homeowners, Daily communication with Boss Must Not be Allergic to Work Neat Appearance - Wrinkled, Ragged & Torn Clothing is NOT Acceptable Attire on the Job Site. Cleanliness - Pick up after yourself at the end of the day & leave the Job Site tidier than when you arrived. Drug Free Workplace - (Enough Said) Equipment - Possess your own Tools (Not Required but helpful) Must have Reliable Transportation - Borrowing your friend's car; Getting a ride from your Mom; and riding the Bus are NOT Reliable Transportation options. Pay Starts at $16.00+ per hour depending on your Skill Level. If you demonstrate most or all of the Skills & Know-How listed above, you will be compensated accordingly within 2 weeks.
