Hi, I'm 44, I play guitar and some bass (electric/upright), drums, percussion and keys. I'm interested in meeting and jamming with open minded, close listening, fairly skilled musicians who are into things like: Cymande Dorothy Ashby Mulatu Astatke Gabor Szabo Chico Hamilton Witch Eden Ahbez Jackie Mittoo Booker T and the M.G.s Francis Bebey Khruangbin Ahmed Malek Tinariwen Ry Cooder Cal Tjader Tony Allen Dahlak Band This is just for starters and what I have on heavy rotation at the moment. Though some of this is jazz, I'm not a jazz head or shredder and lean more toward the trance and psyche side of things. I also like a lot of classic rock (Floyd etc etc), electronic (Aphex, dusty minimal etc), hip/triphop vinyl beatsy stuff (JDilla, Tricky, etc), some ambient stuff (Laraaji etc) - but I'm after a more relaxed, organic, 60s-70s inspired, humans playing together in a room vibe lately.
