The Role: Returnmates is seeking a Warehouse Worker who will be trained to support our Los Angeles operations. You’ll work closely with the Operations Coordinators and the rest of the LA team as we build and grow our LA market. You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the hands-on side of the operations in the warehouse. This will include organizing the warehouse (printing, packaging, taping, and data-entry) and being flexible as a team player (driving when needed, etc.). Your day-to-day efforts will support aggressive growth and expansion at a rapidly growing, early-stage startup. What You’ll Do: Arrive at HQ at around 9:00 to set up the warehouse and help send drivers out Carry out daily operations with support from the rest of the Ops team, including printing labels, affixing them to boxes, taping boxes, weighing boxes, and entering data on packages Coordinate package collection with major carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon) and drive to them when needed to drop off packages Execute quality control procedures for our customers and our partners Deliver excellent customer service; use a customer-first mindset when answering questions from customers with regards to their returns Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience working in any type of job that requires organizational skills Experience with Excel / Google Sheets Ability to lift heavy objects (~50lbs) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Hard working, ability to problem solve independently, devoted, team minded Must have a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Humble, can-do attitude Strong verbal communication and customer service skills Experience working in a warehouse or other logistics facility Have a personal vehicle (for one-off pickups) Returnmates is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
