Bell Bros. has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Warehouse Associate. Successful candidates are organized, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and able to efficiently multi-task. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Load and unload trucks, inspect products for defects and damages • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. • Responsible for ensuring accurate shipping and receiving of packages including reconciling packing slips and invoices • Responsible for inventory control and quality control • Operate forklift and various motor vehicles • Stage equipment for installs • Deliver parts and equipment to jobsites • Order parts and equipment from various bell Brothers vendors • Create and maintain purchase orders, ensure completed paperwork is submitted to accounts payable and entered into databases accurately • Partner with Accounting to resolve issues with purchase orders • Able to work with internal departments to resolve customer concerns • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean staging area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations • Clean and maintain warehouse and facilities, including bathrooms, breakroom and other areas as assigned • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP’s) • Other duties as assigned SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience • Ability to work professionally with internal and external customers and vendors • Ability to drive several types of company vehicles and satisfy the requirements of our insurance carrier • Must pass a drug screening and background check • PC proficiency with an emphasis in Microsoft Office desired • Knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment desirable • Forklift certification desired • Available to work overtime and weekends as needed • Positive and energetic attitude PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
