re-The Bible is the only authority on what is right and wrong

millions of people agree with you. but let me ask you this: Who wrote the Bible? What were their motives for writing "the word of god"? Why did the author not take credit for writing the Bible? I am not saying that the Bible is accurate or inaccurate. I am not cloaking that it is right or wrong. But shouldn't we understand more about a text before offering our blind allegiance to it? Last question: is the billable intended to be interpreted literally or metaphorically? Sorry, one more (bonus) question. Is god him/herself a physical or non physical being? Perhaps the concept of god is a metaphor as well. Blind faith come with a great deal of risk.
