Description
BPH participants needed for urination and medical device study.
Emano Metrics is a medical device startup in Eugene looking for individuals with or are at high risk for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) to participate in a urination study.
Data collected will be used to
1) study the distribution of urination events throughout a day and
2) test the performance of a new uroflowmetry technology.
Participants will use a uroflowmetry system, which involves a toilet placed on a highly sensitive scale, temporarily installed in their home bathroom for 5-7 days. The system is connected to plumbing through an existing, installed toilet.
Participation is confidential and will be reimbursed $10 for each day data is collected.
To participate:
Have BPH or be at risk for BPH (male 50+ years old)
Have sufficient space in a bathroom to accommodate the uroflowmetry system.
